#SaveIan, #SaveJamie, #SaveClaire… hell, #SaveUsAll! Watch a sneak peek of this week’s Outlander finale, “Eye of the Storm”!
Jamie says something in last week’s Outlander that has really stuck with me: “The ghosts that keep coming into our lives, drawn to us, like we are drawn to each other…”
For me, this absolutely embodies all the OMG-moments in “The Bakra”. Geillis Duncan is back! She’s still nuts (bathing in goat’s blood?!), still good at manipulating men (Dougal, who saved her from death and told her about the treasure; Mr. Abernathy, who she presumably married and then killed him so she could own the sugar plantation), and she’s still trying to figure out how to put a Scotsman on the British throne. Unfortunately, Ian, Claire, and Jamie are caught up in her schemes.
Lord John Grey is also back, and it is nice to see the strength of his friendship with Jamie and their bonding over Willie. But the tension between LJG and Claire cannot be missed: his shock (jealousy?) that Jamie has tole Claire about Willie, and her shock (jealousy?) at the depth of LJG’s feelings for her husband. We’ll have to see where this goes…

In “Eye of the Storm” (written by Matthew B. Roberts and Toni Graphia, directed by Matthew B. Roberts):
Claire is forced to play a game of cat and mouse with an old adversary as she searches for Young Ian. The Frasers race through the jungles of Jamaica to prevent the unthinkable. (via STARZ)
What does Captain Leonard plan to do with Jamie? Will Claire be able to save Ian from Geillis? Where are Yi Tien Cho and Margaret?
In the episode trailer, we see that Claire does confront Geillis, plus Jamie and Claire will eventually reunite. We’ll also make it to Abandawe and all the awesome terror that those stones inspire:
