Rian isn’t counting on some cocky a-hole to turn her life upside down, but Pierce Whitfield has nothing but time this summer and he’s very persistent. Here’s our review of I Flipping Love You by Helena Hunting!

I Flipping Love You (Shacking Up #3)
Rating: 4 out of 5 STARS
{Mild Spoilers; Adult Content}
I Flipping Love You is so fun! It’s a fluffy read that will make you smile, swoon, laugh, and want to hug the heroine and her sister.
Rian is just trying to get her Cinnamon Toast Crunch and go home, so why is this really hot guy staring her down in the cereal aisle? It’s verging on creepy…until he accuses her of hitting his Tesla and wants her to pay for the damages.
Oh, the trials of having a twin who doesn’t pay attention to the other cars around her.
It turns out it wasn’t Rian who took off that custom paint job of his, but her twin sister Marley. Marley also hits him square in the junk with a shopping cart to get away from him. Things never go as planned because Rian has to do the walk of shame back into the store to get her purse.
Things only get more fun from there.
Rian and Pierce run into each other everywhere, and it soon becomes obvious that they both have interests in the real estate in the Hamptons. Rian and Marley are agents who are looking to buy their first house and flip it, and Pierce is helping his brother Lawson out that summer with flipping houses they buy themselves.
Over the course of the summer, Rian and Pierce getting extremely close and let’s be honest, their chemistry is off the charts!
I put my hand on his chest to prevent him from going any farther. “Go slow,” I tell him. I want to watch this happen.”
His eyes snap to mine, hot and needy, and his jaw tics. A smirk curves up the corner of his mouth. “You really have no idea how perfect you are. And don’t worry, I want to watch me stretch you with my cock, too.”
I clench at his words. “That was way dirtier than anything I would’ve said.”
“I can dial that back if you’d prefer.”
“No, thanks. I think I like it.”
and what about…
“Enough,” I whisper. My voice comes out a smoky rasp, but there’s command in it and he yields.
He nods his head once, eyes darting to my lips, the longing making his lids heavy. “Never. But okay…for now.”

Unfortunately, secrets on both sides start coming to light, and Rian feels like it could ruin everything she has with Pierce. Can there new relationship make it?
Honestly, there were only a couple of issues I had with this novel. One was the drama towards the end that involved Rian’s parents. It never felt like a big deal to me because who in the world holds kids accountable for the crimes of their parents? Pierce never came across as the type of person to blame Rian for something she had no control over, so I wasn’t sure why Rian doubted him so much.
The other one that bothered me was the treatment of Marley. She and Rian have been on their own for ten years. They’ve built a business together. When Pierce comes around and Rian begins to date him, Rian sort of leaves her sister out. I know that Rian isn’t going to have Marley tag along all the time, but she ditches her sister a lot. Based on Marley’s blunt personality, I was expecting more push back from her when it came to Rian stepping out so much.
Other than those two small things, this is a great summer read! It’ll make you want to head to the beach and enjoy the view! Or if you’re like me, it’ll make you think you could totally flip a house one day.

Thank you so much to the publisher for the advanced copy of this novel!
