Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters this December! Miles Morales will be joined by Spider-Gwen and an older Peter Parker as his mentor. Here’s our first look at the film!

Oh my gosh! This looks so good, y’all! I absolutely adore the comic feel of the trailer. It’s got dramatic, wide shots, but it balances it with a very domestic feel when it comes to Miles’ family and his time with Peter in the diner.
So who can we look forward to seeing in this one?
Miles Morales (voiced by: Shameik Moore)

Spider-Gwen, described as spunky and carefree, (voiced by: Hailee Steinfeld)

Peter Parker, Miles’ reluctant mentor, (voiced by: Jake Johnson)

Rounding out this incredible cast is “Liev Schreiber playing the larger-than-life crime lord Kingpin, Oscar® winner Mahershala Ali as Miles’ influential uncle Aaron, Brian Tyree Henry playing Miles’ father Jefferson, Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio, and Lily Tomlin as Aunt May.” {Via Sony Pictures Entertainment}
Right now, the official synopsis is pretty short and vague, but I expect more plot details as we get closer to the release date.

The producers, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, are extremely excited to bring Miles to screen, too!
“We can’t wait for the world to see Miles Morales on the big screen. He’s such a fun and exciting new character, and telling his story through a revolutionary visual style makes for a totally fresh cinematic experience that, if we may say so, is freaking amazing.” {Via Sony Pictures Entertainment}
