At D23 this weekend, Disney has been announcing the upcoming lineup for its streaming platform, Disney+. This streaming service will drop November 12, and with it, tons of content!

If you’ve been anywhere on social media in the last two days, you’ve seen the deluge of articles and trailers from D23. I’m not even mad about it. The streaming service is producing content that I didn’t even know I wanted or needed in my life. Did you know there’s going to be a show featuring Jeff Goldblum experiencing random life things? What about mockumentary style series about the school where High School Musical was shot performing High School Musical?
Did you love Lizzie McGuire? Well, she’s coming back, you guys! As a thirty-something millennial living in NYC! Disney also low-key made a live-action Lady and the Tramp movie. The dogs are absolutely precious! Then there’s Encore. A series about adults who get to go back and perform the musical they were in in high school.
If you’ve been paying attention, I haven’t even mentioned the huge Star Wars announcements and trailer drops. My personal favorite is Ewan McGregor will be reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for the limited series, Kenobi. There’s still more Marvel annoucements to come, inclusing what role Kit Harrington will be playing in the MCU. In the meantime, know that She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel are in the works, and Kat Dennings will be reprising the role of Darcy for WandaVision! WandaVision is going to lead us into Doctor Strange and the Multi-Verse of Madness.
For all of us that balked at paying for another streaming service, it looks like Disney called our bluff. There’s no way I’m not bundling my Hulu with it at this point, and I’ll gladly hand over my money for the Loki series alone. Throw in a cute holiday movie with Anna Kendrick? They really know their target demo, in my opinion.
You can watch all the released trailers so far, and this post will update as new trailers drop. There’s a lot, guys.
