Droughtlander is a bit longer this year, but we’ve been given plenty of images and visuals to tide us over until February. Let’s take a look!

Outlander owns us. There’s no hiding our enthusiasm for the series!
Earlier this month, STARZ brought Outlander to New York Comic-Con. They didn’t disappoint with their gifts either! Not only did we get several images from the fifth season, we also received a teaser trailer!
The fourth season of Outlander wasn’t short on drama. Jamie and Claire forged a life in colonial America while making friends with some serious key figures in American History. *obligatory Hamilton reference* Here comes the General…
In meeting Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta, we saw the harsh reality of slavery in early America and the brutality involved.
Season four brought back a beloved character, Murtagh, and saw him finally paired up with a love interest of several decades, Jocasta.
Lord John Grey comes back, and Jamie was able to spend quality time with his son. Like always, LJG stirs up trouble, but by the end of the season, I’m sort of okay with him.
Brianna and Roger also finally got together but promptly fall apart. After figuring out that she went through the stones, Roger follows after her, only to get caught up with Stephen Bonnet. When Roger reaches the New World, he and Bree are reunited. This time they are hand-fast in private and consummate their relationship before getting into an argument and parting ways. Upon returning to the inn, Brianna meets Stephen Bonnet and is raped by him.
Roger has to finish out his work with Bonnet before he can return to find Bree. Miscommunications ensue and Roger is sold to Native Americans and hauled up the East Coast. They get him back, though, but lose Ian.
One of the biggest moments in the series happens in season four. Jamie finally meets Brianna. The scene is beautiful and heart-wrenching.
Now, as we move into season five, we still have lots of issues to tackle:
Will someone finally kill Stephen Bonnet? That kind of evil doesn’t just go away.
Will Roger truly be okay with his son’s possible paternity?
Will Jamie be able to protect Murtagh from Governor Tryon?
Will Claire be able to protect her family from a dangerous future?
The teaser trailer is heavy on the guilt for Claire, but she’ll do everything in her power to make sure her family is safe while the future stays intact. Take a look below and get ready for February!
Outlander premieres February 16, 2020 on STARZ.
